CROSS BOUNDARY LEADERSHIP Sixty-eight students participated in the HKU-Common Purpose Leadership Development Programme in summer 2017. During their four-week stay in Manila, the students experienced cultural exchanges through internships, immersion visits to organisations such as the World Bank, and direct interactions with local people. The Programme is supported by the Gallant Ho Experiential Learning Centre. Students began by spending three weeks attending lectures and learning materials online. A gamification syllabus was deployed where students took part in game-based workshops and used algorithms to solve a Rubik’s cube.
