Since 2010, the HKU Volunteers Team has been celebrating the Moon Festival with elderly citizens.
This year the University’s “Share your love‧Sponsor a gift pack” received overwhelming responses. Thanks to the support of hundreds of alumni, staff, friends and students, over $100,000 was raised.
The HKU Volunteers Team, together with the community partners, delivered gift packs of low-sugar mooncakes and fruit to 2,000 elderly in Western District in celebration of the festival.
