Sabrina Zeng (BBA(Acc&Fin) Year 1), an accounting and finance student at HKU and a graduate of Ning Po College, was among the 22 scholarship awardees this year. At the Scholarship Ceremony held in April, she shared her memory of how her life changed after attending the inaugural ceremony two years ago. She was in Form Four that year and was inspired by the awardees on stage, her seniors, to be admitted to HKU like they were. It was not an easy path for her as a new immigrant to Hong Kong, but Sabrina attributes this Scholarship with giving her the courage to see her though the struggles she encountered with her studies and HKDSE preparations.”I would never have thought I could have made it this far. Thank you Dr Li Dak Sum, Mrs Li Yip Yio Chin and Mr Kenneth Li for believing in us.”
