Kindness can be expressed in countless ways; creating a scholarship to help a student, being there for a friend in need, or sharing a friendly smile with a stranger.
This autumn, share the joy of the Mid-Autumn Festival with senior citizens in our community. HKU is calling for volunteers to join hands and to distribute low-sugar mooncakes gift packs on Saturday and Sunday September 18 and 19, 2010. Through this community outreach, we aim to send blessings and happiness to more than 1,000 senior citizens living in Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories. Students, staff, and alumni are welcome to participate.
By giving, we are building a healthier community and enriching ourselves and everyone around one. We hope you will join us to bring joy to our community this Mid-Autumn Festival.
This project is a Prelude to the HKU Centenary Celebrations in 2011.
