With the generous support of the Young Snow Arts and Humanities Fund 少雪齋人文基金, students, HKU Foundation members and friends attended a special screening of “Keep Rolling” 《好好拍電影》, a documentary tribute to alumna Ann Hui’s dedication and integrity as a filmmaker of 40 years. The numerous ups and downs in her career are intricately intertwined with the story of this amazing city. She is six times winner of Hong Kong Film Awards Best Director and three times Golden Horse Awards Best Director.
“I would like to revert the honour to Hong Kong, my City… I will try to help the younger filmmakers so that they will also get life achievements and prizes in the future.Long live cinema.”

Fireside Chat: Let’s Keep Rolling 一齊好好拍電影
As a sequel to the special screening, a fireside chat featuring world-renowned directors: alumnae Ann Hui and Mabel Cheung, and Hung Leung Hau Ling Distinguished Fellow in Humanities, Ruby Yang was presented.
