With a HK$5 million generous donation from Dr Gallant Ho (BA 1965), the “Gallant Ho Service Learning Scheme – Family Values” (何耀棣服務學習計劃 – 家庭價值) was launched with the aim of promoting students’ interest in service learning and family values.

This five-year scheme aims to provide service learning opportunities for 500 HKU students to serve the community and their experiences will be part of the new four-year undergraduate curriculum. Through service learning, students may learn to live the positive family values embedded in the Chinese culture and, at the same time, contribute to the well-being of other people.
