“My vision is to create inclusive and vibrant communities with my social awareness and surveying profession. The orientation activities and mentorship sessions offered by The D. H. Chen Foundation not only broadened my horizons, but also brought me a big step closer to my dream. I hope one day I can change someone else’s life as the way the Foundation changed mine.” said Harold Lam, a Scholar from Cohort 2022.
“I am delighted to learn that the Scholarship Program has not only enhanced awardees’ exposure and social awareness, it also encourages the Scholars to offer their support and care to the needy. Furthermore, I am impressed that the Scholarship Program provides many knowledge exchange and sharing opportunities for Scholars. I trust that The D. H. Chen Foundation Scholars will play a vital part in shaping the future.” shared by Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) Professor Ian Holliday at the Scholarship’s President Roundtable 2023.
Through awarding a maximum of 20 Scholarships every year to local undergraduate students from various institutions, the Program invests in Hong Kong’s brightest young people who will combine their professional knowledge and humanitarian ethos to drive impact for a better tomorrow.
