June 2009 「這不單單是一位傑出藝人的傳記;它還是我們學習與時並進、創新開拓的好教材。願我們都能從波叔那豐盛的人生中得到啟發和充足的精神資糧,奮發精進,迎難而上。」- 港大教研發展基金副主席李焯芬教授 從文武生到諧星、從粵劇舞台到電影再到電視,梁醒波的生平,見證著華人地區粵劇和娛樂文化的發展和歷史變遷,展現了香港人的奮鬥精神。 適逢聯合國教科文組織將粵劇評鑒為「人類非物質文化遺產」, 由港大人文基金贊助,港大教育學院及經濟日報合作出版《梁醒波傳》,以紀念這位一代丑生王。港大中文教育研究中心將《梁醒波傳》納入「新高中課程校本教材計劃」,讓年青一代了解本土粵劇文化。 香港大學美術博物館舉行的「梁醒波藝術人生」展覽,開幕禮上嘉賓雲集:(左起)石鏡泉先生、鍾嶺崇博士、陳志雲先生、梁葆文女士、汪明荃博士、馮紹波先生、李焯芬教授、梁乃業醫生、吳鳳平博士及楊春棠先生。
